Cleveland Browns quarterback Brian Hoyer says he's been fully cleared for training camp after practicing with restrictions for training camp.

Hoyer tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee last season against the Buffalo Bills.

“I’m really happy with where I’m at right now,” Hoyer told reporters. “I can’t wait to get out and play football.”

Hoyer won consecutive starts before hurting his knee.

During the spring, Hoyer didn't do full-team drills. He's battling Johnny Manziel for the starting job.

“[I’ll be] practicing full go, so it’s exciting for me,” Hoyer said. “It’s something I’ve worked really hard to get back to, and I’m just looking forward to getting going.

“It feels good to know that I put the work in and now it’s time to go. You don’t think about it. You just go out and play football.”
