Kenny Britt's run of good fortune hit a bump in the road Wednesday when the wide receiver felt tightness in his leg and was unable to finish practice for the Tennessee Titans.

Britt, who has 14 catches for 271 yards and three touchdowns thus far, exited halfway through practice with what Coach Mike Munchak termed tightness in his quadriceps and is listed on the injury report with a thigh injury.

“Kenny Britt got through about half of practice and just had tightness in his legs and general soreness in his quad,” said Munchak, who said he believed Britt would practice Thursday. “There's nothing there. I just think it's from the game and from what he's been doing the last two weeks. He went through about half of practice and we cut him back. It's nothing that's concerning. I think it was just more general soreness.”

However, Britt indicated that he felt tightness in the same right hamstring that has caused him problems dating back to last year and also cost him much of preseason.

“I had a little tightness in my hamstring that I didn't feel in a while. And as precaution I just slowed it down and backed off. I thought I was past by now,” Britt said. “It kept getting tighter and tighter and wouldn't loosen up for me and it got me a little scared and I backed down.”

In addition to that, running back Chris Johnson was also limited in practice, as he was held out with soreness in his ribs as well. Johnson also said he expected to practice on Thursday.
