Kenny Britt's 2013 season has been a very forgettable one so far.
And rumors have persisted that the Tennessee Titans have been shopping him around the NFL.
On Monday, in an interview with TitanInsider, Britt addressed that speculation just 24 hours before the league trading deadline on Tuesday.
“Do I expect to be here? I don’t know what my future is. If I’m here, that’ll be great. If I’m not, it would be a fresh start. Right now, my mind is if I’m here, I am,” Britt said.
Britt, a first-round pick in 2009, has just eight catches for 67 yards in seven games and has lost his starting job in Tennessee. Asked if the trade talk bothered him, he replied “No, not at all. The game is about business and if they feel I’m not getting the job done, it’s up to them to keep me or not. But I’m grateful for the opportunity they gave me to be here. Hopefully, I’m not going anywhere because I would love to stay here.”
