Titans receiver accompanied by attorney in Tuesday meeting. Terry McCormick
Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt resurfaced on Tuesday evening and complied with the Jersey City Police Department's request to question him about a stabbing and shooting incident early Sunday morning.
Britt was accompanied by an attorney, according to TitanInsider.com, and spoke with police regarding him taking a friend who had been stabbed to the hospital following a fight in an apartment.
Later, Britt returned to the apartment to pick up a woman police termed as a "girlfriend," and a short time later a shot was fired into the apartment. Police had wanted to question Britt earlier, but he did not come in for questioning until Tuesday evening.
Capt. Edgar Martinez indicated that the investigation was "still on-going" and would not say if Britt is any more than just a witness to what transpired.
