Receiver has had three knee procedures since tearing ACL in September. Terry McCormick
In a move that is not surprising, Tennessee Titans receiver Kenny Britt will begin training camp on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list.
Britt has had three knee procedures since tearing his ACL and MCL last September against the Denver Broncos. He underwent reconstructive surgery in October, and since that time had a clean-up procedure on his right knee in May. Then in June, he had his left knee scoped.
Britt will be eligible to be reinstated to the active roster once he is able to pass his physical. The Titans also placed rookie safety Markelle Martin on the PUP list with a knee injury as well.
Britt, of course, has issues from a DUI last week in Fort Campbell, Ky., that could land him a suspension from the NFL, once he is healthy enough to return.
