Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall broke Terrell Owens' NFL record for receptions in a game with 21.

Marshall tied the mark on a 5-yard touchdown pass from Kyle Orton during the fourth quarter of the Broncos' 28-16 loss to the Colts. Marshall broke the record with a 7-yard catch, then lateraled the ball, but the Broncos fell short of a first down and lost to the Colts 28-16.

Owens caught 20 passes for the San Francisco 49ers on Dec. 17, 2000.
