Center J.D. Walton's 2013 season is in danger before it gets started, as he has had a second operation and could miss the entire year.
Jeff Legwold of the Denver Post says the procedure is expected to cause Walton to miss all of the season, though Broncos officials are holding out hope that if the healing process goes well, he could potentially return in late October or early November.
Walton originally broke his ankle in September 2012 against the Oakland Raiders and was placed on injured reserve.
