Jack Del Rio has reunited with John Fox and will be the new defensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos, says the Denver Post, which speculated the possibility earlier in the week.

He replaces Dennis Allen, who was hired this week to be the Oakland Raiders new head coach.

Del Rio was Fox's defensive coordinator with the Carolina Panthers 10 years ago before taking the head coaching job in Jacksonville, a position he held until the final three games of the season when the Jaguars fired him.

The Broncos also hired Luke Richesson to be their new strength and conditioning coach.
