The Denver Broncos paid cornerback Champ Bailey's $3 million roster bonus this week as well as roster bonus for running back Knowshon Moreno, linebacker D.J. Williams and wide receiver Brandon Stokley, according to the Denver Post.
As the report notes, Bailey's blockbuster seven-year, $63 million contract has endured since the trade from the Washington Redskins.
"Yes, it was a good contract, but I think it was a pretty good contract for the Broncos too, because of the way Champ performed," Jack Reale, Bailey's agent, told the Post. "How many players out there went to the Pro Bowl five out of the first six years of their contract?"
Bailey, 32, is in the final year of that contract.
Per the report, there haven't been any talks about a new deal.
Bailey is still performing at a high level, so a new deal at some point isn't out of the realm of possibility.
