The Denver Broncos' quarterback situation took another turn today when they cut second-year quarterback Tom Brandstater, a sixth-round pick last year.
Brandstater's presence became unnecessary with the drafting of Tim Tebow and the trade for Brady Quinn.
So far, Kyle Orton has held onto his starting job.
And Brandstater became the odd man out.
Brandstater could become a fairly hot commodity on the waiver wire.
