Mike Holmgren's departure with the Cleveland Browns appeared inevitable from the moment that Jimmy Haslam purchased the team earlier this season.
Holmgren's departure was made official by the Browns on Sunday, as the club announced it on the same day that Cleveland upset the rival Pittsburgh Steelers.
Holmgren is expected to meet with the media on Monday to discuss his departure.
