The Cleveland Browns claimed two players off waivers on Saturday, picking up linebacker Tank Carder from Buffalo and defensive lineman Ishmaa’ily Kitchen from Baltimore.
To make room on the roster, the Browns waived defensive lineman Brian Sanford and waived/injured defensive lineman Scott Paxson.
The team also signed eight players to its practice squad: Linebacker Solomon Elimimian, defensive lineman Ronnie Cameron, wide receiver Josh Cooper, linebacker Benjamin Jacobs, fullback Brad Smelley and offensive linemen Garth Gerhart, Jarrod Shaw and Jeff Shugarts.
