Browns receiver/returner knocked out in loss to Ravens. Terry McCormick
Cleveland Browns receiver/return man Josh Cribbs' helmet went flying off and he was knocked unconscious in Thursday night's loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
Browns coach Pat Shurmur confirmed after the game that Cribbs did suffer a concussion. During the game, the Browns only said Cribbs had a head injury, according to Fox 8 in Cleveland.
While that might seem the obvious diagnosis that anyone watching the game could have figured out on their own, remember last year the Browns failed to diagnose quarterback Colt McCoy with a concussion and sent him back into the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
It is not yet known how severe Cribbs' concussion is and how much time he might miss.
