QB get $8.1 million with fourth year partially guaranteed. Terry McCormick
The Cleveland Browns completed their deal with quarterback Brandon Weeden on Tuesday, agreeing to an $8.1 million package, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
The Browns had completed a deal late Monday night with their other first-round pick, running back Trent Richardson.
Weeden had wanted his entire contract guaranteed, but the report indicated that only a portion of the fourth year of the contract is that way.
Weeden can now get busy going about trying to win the Browns' starting quarterback job as a rookie, something most connected to the team expect him to do during camp and preseasons.
