Cleveland Browns defensive linemen Ahtyba Rubin isn't going anywhere, and his contract isn't being adjusted.
Rubin's agent told The Cleveland Plain Dealer that his client isn't in danger of being released.
"I can assure Ahtyba is fine,'' Herman said "All the conversations have been positive and everybody's happy to have him on the team.''
Rubin is due a $6.6 million base salary next season, which marks the final year of his deal.
Rubin signed a $26.5 million contract extension in 2011 and recoredd 80 tackles last season.
"I met with (Executive Vice President) Sashi Brown at the combine,'' Herman said. "There will be no modifications to the contract and (coach) Mike Pettine is excited to have him. Who wouldn't be?''
