Continuing to overhaul the Cleveland Browns' quarterback situation, the AFC North franchise has hauled in former Carolina Panthers quarterback Jake Delhomme with a two-year deal, ESPN is reporting.
Delhomme was cut recently by the Panthers and figures to be the starter in Cleveland.
For Delhomme, this marks an opportunity for a fresh start. He struggled markedly with the Panthers toward the end of his tenure there and will need to play much better to establish himself as the guy in Cleveland.
And this is another bad development for former Browns first-round pick Brady Quinn, who has struggled since entering the league out of Notre Dame.
Browns team president Mike Holmgren has cut Derek Anderson, traded for Seneca Wallace and now Quinn could be on his way out with Delhomme's arrival.
Quinn is on the trading block.

Delhomme + Wallace = WINNERS!
Maybe they should go grab JP Losman as well.
This is pathetic.
What did I do?
WTF did I do wrong?
Great! Now I have someone else who can start while they develop me for a couple of years, thus reducing the risk of my burning out in the first year from having to start when I'm not ready!
More comp, where is the Whitehurst or Smith trade? Cleveland has a LOT of picks and can afford to shed some late ones...
Sign me! Haven't you heard? Shanahan was thinking about signing me. That means I must be good.
I'm sure Ed Reed and Troy Polumaro [sp?] are shakin' in their boots.
ok girls shut your yaps! Clauson you're not making it here since Seattle is going to trade up. Quinn, just go... Losman, grow a set! The 2010 Delhomme/Wallace comedy tour will begin this fall, get your tickets now!
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
If I'm Brady Quinn, I just got the message that Seneca Wallace and Jake Delhomme are better than me, at least in Mike Holmgren's mind. Either he underestimated me or I should be looking for a civilian job, pronto.
Well, at least Quinn has that ND diploma. Should be able to land a good PR job with some Ohio company. It's pretty clear his services are not needed by the Browns.
