Veteran play caller joins Chudzinski staff as offensive coordinator. Terry McCormick
The Cleveland Browns made official on Thursday what has been reported and speculated for approximately a week - that Norv Turner is their new offensive coordinator.
The rumblings of Turner becoming the Browns OC began shortly after Cleveland decided on Rob Chudzinski as head coach.
In addition to the recently fired San Diego Chargers coach joining the Browns to direct the offense, the club also named three other new coaches and announced that two holdovers from Pat Shurmur's staff would remain.
The hires include Brad Roll (Strength & Conditioning), Mike Sullivan (Offensive Line) and Scott Turner (Wide Receivers). Chris Tabor (Special Teams Coordinator) and George Warhop (Offensive Line) will remain from the 2012 staff.
