Browns promote Darius Eubanks, cut Brandon Magee

The Cleveland Browns promoted linebacker Darius Eubanks from the practice squad to the active roster anc cut linebacker Brandon Magee.

A 6-foot-2, 222-pound rookie from Georgia Southern, Eubanks entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent, with the Minnesota Vikings and spent the preseason with the Vikings before the club waived him..

A four-year letterman at Georgia Southern, Eubanks started 51 career games. A first-team All-Southern Conference selection in 2012, he started 13 contests at safety and compiled 77 tackles. The year before as a junior, he started all 14 games as a linebacker.
