The Cleveland Browns signed veteran quarterback Rex Grossman and cut quarterback Tyler Thigpen.
Grossman reunites with former Washington Redskins offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan.
Grossman tried out for the Miami Dolphins on Monday, but they signed Brady Quinn.
Grossman has gone 25-22 as a starter.
He's passed for 10,232 yards with 56 touchdowns and 60 interceptions.
He spent his first six seasons with the Bears and led Chicago to Super Bowl XLI during his first full season as the starter. Grossman spent the past four seasons with the Redskins following one year with the Texans.
