The Cleveland Browns signed six players to contracts after successful tryouts at a rookie minicamp earlier this month.
The Browns signed former Alabama kicker Leigh Tiffin.
Tiffin was a two-time semifinalist for the Lou Groza Award.
Tiffin connected on 87 career field goals, including 31 last season for the national champions. He finished as Alabama’s career leader with 347 points.
The Browns also signed free agent defensive linemen Kwaku Danso (East Carolina, 6-foot-5, 336 pounds), Brian Sanford (Temple) and Martin Taveseu (UNLV), defensive back Matthew Harris (Arkansas), and tight end Ryan Moya (UCLA).
