The Cleveland Browns have signed wide receiver David Nelson to a one-year deal, the club announced on Monday.
Nelson was non-tendered by the Buffalo Bills, who signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2010. Nelson's best season came in 2011 when he caught 61 passes for the Bills.
“David possesses very good size and hands, and has a good feel for the game,” said Browns coach Rob Chudzinski. “He showed promise with Buffalo two years ago before missing most of last season with an injury, and we feel as though he will be a good addition to our group of wide receivers.”
