Browns signing Vince Young, Tyler Thigpen

The Cleveland Browns.are signing quarterbacks Vince Young and Tyler Thigpen to one-year contracts.

Young hasn't played in the NFL since 2011 with the Philadelphia Eagles.

He was with the Green Bay Packers briefly last season before being released.

A former Tennessee Titans first-round draft pick who made the Pro Bowl in 2006 and 2009, Young was the Associated Press NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2006 after playing collegiately at the University of Texas.

Young, 30, has passed for 8,964 career yards, 46 touchdowns and 51 interceptions.

Young resolved a bankruptcy case earlier this year.

Thigpen has previous stints with the Kansas City Chiefs, Minnesota Vikings, Miami Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills.

The former Coastal Carolina standout has passed for 21 career touchdowns, 18 interceptions and 3,222 yards for a 72.5 passer rating.
