The Cleveland Browns worked out veteran outside linebacker-defensive end Edgar Jones today, according to a league source.

Jones has previous stints with the Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens.

The 29-year-old has recorded 38 career tackles, 1.5 sacks and one forced fumble.

Jones, who's 6-foot-4, 262 pounds, played collegiately at Southeast Missouri State and was signed by the Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2007. He played for the Ravens for five seasons.

Last year, he was traded to the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys gave up their 2014 sixth-round draft pick for Jones and the Chiefs’ 2014 seventh-round draft pick.

Jones had six tackles in seven games last season for the Cowboys.
