Bruce Allen has added another responsibility to being Washington's general manager.

On Monday, the Redskins announced that Allen will now also be the team's president in addition to being the GM.

"I think the world of Bruce Allen and giving him both titles is appropriate," owner Dan Snyder said.

Clearly with the Redskins past the Mike Shanahan era, it makes sense to give Allen the added title. But now he'll be accountable for much more than just selecting players each draft.

But given his recent letter in response to the 50 U.S. Senators that want Washington to change its team nickname, he seems up for the challenge — for better or worse.
