The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed their first-round selection Mike Evans, the organization announced on Thursday.

Evans was the seventh-overall pick in this year's NFL draft. The 6-5 product out of Texas A&M figures to start as Tampa Bay's No. 2 receiver alongside Vincent Jackson. Evans had 1,394 yards and 12 touchdowns as a redshirt sophomore with the Aggies a year ago.

Evans' rookie deal will be worth $14.63 million, with the wideout receiving a signing bonus of $8.96 million.
