Buccaneers sign QB Mike Kafka

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed quarterback Mike Kafka on Monday, according to his agent Mike McCartney on twitter.

Kafka was a fourth-round selection by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2010 and debuted for the Eagles during the 2011 season. Kafka was not with a team during the 2013 season.

In four career games played, Kafka has completed 11 of 16 passes for 107 yards and two interceptions.

He joins Mike Glennon and Dan Orlovsky in Tampa Bay at the quarterback position. Glennon will certainly enter training camp a heavy favorite to keep his starting job as the franchise moves forward with Lovie Smith as its head coach.
