Perhaps the Tampa Bay Buccaneers plan to do some scavenging elsewhere when it comes to cobbling together their practice squad.
The team announced the beginning of the process today as the Bucs have signed three players to their eight-man developmental squad. All of them were in training camp.
The signing include defensive end George Johnson, an undrafted free agent from Rutgers, tight end Ryan Purvis and safety Vince Anderson. Purvis had a solid preseason making plays in the passing game. The team is expected to fill the remaining five slots in the next day or so.
