Jets could lose a partner to deal with Brad Biggs
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers may soon be ready to move on.
The club has been in negotiations with the New York Jets on a trade for cornerback Darrelle Revis but the protracted talks may force the Bucs to head elsewhere.
Brian Costello of the New York Post reports the Bucs are “losing patience with the Jets” and that Tampa has told people it will be looking at other options soon.
The Jets are seeking high value for Revis, who is coming off a torn ACL and will need a new contract. It’s unknown at this point if the Bucs are dangling the 13th overall pick in this draft. If not Revis, the Bucs could move on to Brent Grimes. Tampa has already upgraded its secondary this offseason by signing safety Dashon Goldson.
