Tampa Bay looking to find replacement for fired Raheem Morris. Terry McCormick
Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times tweets that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are ready to interview Tennessee Titans defensive coordinator Jerry Gray for their head coaching position.
Gray is in his first season as Tennessee's defensive coordinator, and has had a well-traveled coaching career with a stint as defensive backs coach with the Titans, defensive coordinator in Buffalo as well as defensive backs coach in Washington and Seattle before returning to Tennessee this season. He has never been a head coach, but has been regarded as potential head coaching material in his career in the past.
By interviewing Gray, the Bucs would also be satisfying the Rooney Rule of having to interview a minority candidate for the position.
