Mike Sullivan reportedly in the mix Brad Biggs
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ ongoing search for an offensive coordinator continues.
The club is going to interview Mike Sullivan, who is the quarterbacks coach for the New York Giants, according to Rachel Nichols of ESPN. Sullivan has done nice work with Eli Manning, but much of the credit for the offense in New York goes to offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride, who surprisingly hasn’t gotten more traction as a head-coaching candidate.
The Bucs have been taking their time in building a staff and have encountered some road blocks along the way. Because new head coach Greg Schiano has a defensive background, it will be significant to find a strong offensive coordinator that can develop the scheme around young quarterback Josh Freeman.
Ron Turner and John Shoop have also been reported to be in the mix for the coordinator job.
