Running back Reggie Bush of the Miami Dolphins has been selected as the AFC Offensive Player of the week for his 172-yard rushing effort in a 35-13 win over the Oakland Raiders. Bush scored two TDs in the victory.
Defensively, Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt was selected for the weekly honor in week two. Watt helped propel the Texans to a 27-7 win over Jacksonville. Watt had five tackles, 1.5 sacks, two passes defensed and a fumble recovery against the Jaguars.
On special teams, Adam "Pacman" Jones of Cincinnati was selected as player of the week following his 81-yard punt return for a touchdown in a 34-27 win over Cleveland.
