Dolphins running back shows no sympathy for Jets injured cornerback. Terry McCormick
Reggie Bush wasn't about to play the sympathy card for New York cornerback Darrelle Revis after the Jets after being knocked out of Sunday's game with a knee injury himself.
Jets linebacker Calvin Pace said “we had to put him on out” when talking about Bush being knocked out of the game with a knee injury, which turned out to be just a bruise.
According to the Palm Beach Post, Bush sounded as if justice had been served to the Jets as he spoke on his radio show. Revis tore his ACL later in that game and is lost for the season.
“It’s like the old saying, what goes around comes around,” Bush said. “They talked about all week about putting hot sauce and this and that, and they ended up losing their best player for the rest of the season. So, it’s sad that it happened because of that, but I’m going to be back.”
