Brodie meeting with NFC South club Aaron Wilson
South Dakota State cornerback and kick returner Cole Brodie is visiting the Atlanta Falcons today, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation.
Brodie is also scheduled to visit the Jacksonville Jaguars on April 18.
An All-Missouri Valley Conference first-team cornerback and second-team return specialist, Brodie ran the 40-yard dash in 4.41 and 4.43 seconds at his Pro Day workout and bench pressed 225 pounds 16 times.
Attending rhe 5-foot-10, 188-pounder's Pro Day: the Green Bay Packers, Kansas City Chiefs, Jaguars, Dallas Cowboys, Minnesota Vikings, New York Jets and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Last season, Brodie intercepted a career-high five passes and returned two for touchdowns.
He recorded 62 tackles, four for losses.
The Georgia native averaged 24.8 yards on 17 kickoff return with a long return of 64 yards. He generated a 10.9 punt return average on 34 returns.
A native of Dacula, Ga., Brodie is on schedule to graduate in May with a degree in agricultural business.
