NFL stars Chris Johnson of the Tennessee Titans and Devin Hester of the Chicago Bears are two of the fastest players in the league.
But, per TheWrap.com, the two stars are matching their skills against a cheetah to kick off the Nat Geo Wild (National Geograhic) channel's "Big Cat Week."
"This is most incredible challenge I’ve ever faced. I wanted to go up against the fastest in the world and test myself, and this was it!" said Johnson, who in the past had wanted to race Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt.
The episode Hester and Johnson are in is appropriately titled "Man vs. Cheetah." The episode is scheduled to air in November.
"The whole idea of racing next to a cheetah for Nat Geo Wild was a very unusual proposition," said Hester. "But it was something I was ready to take on to see if I could get an edge on."
Thus far, we have been unable to confirm the rumor that the Oakland Raiders, with their love for speed, have offered the cheetah a three-year contract.
