When Calvin Johnson was not answering questions about the fingers on his left hand that he did or did not break this past season, the Detroit Lions wide receiver said former teammate Titus Young is in his mind.
Young remains in jail in Riverside, Calif., following a crime spree earlier this month that his netted him a slew of felony charges. Reports are that the former second-round draft pick of the Lions has a mental disorder.
“Very tough,” Johnson said, according to Chris McCosky of the Detroit News. “Just pray he can get his off-the-field stuff straight so he can move on with his life. You can never foresee things like this but I wish him the best. We're praying for him.”
Hopefully Young can receive some help and get his life back on track.
