New York Jets rookie safety Calvin Pryor is known for his outspoken nature.
And he reinforced that reputation with his comments about the New York Giants and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady during an appearance on Sportsnet New York.
"We don't like Tom at all," Pryor said. "When I first came here, that was one of the first things I heard about: We hate the Patriots, and we hate the Giants. That's what everybody was telling me. We hate those guys, and I look forward to playing them this season."
That's not really a big deal.
Of course, given the nature of how things get blown out of proportion these days, a big deal will be made out of Pryor's comments.
And he'll have a choice to make on whether he'll speak his mind in the future or give more politically correct, boring answers. Here's hoping he says what he feels.
