Lawrence Tynes field goal in overtime put Eli Manning back into the Super Bowl and delivered Cam Newton to the Pro Bowl.
The Carolina Panthers’ rookie sensation is going to Hawaii as he will replace Manning on the NFC squad’s roster. It’s a tremendous end to a terrific season for the No. 1 overall draft pick.
Newton passed for 4,051 yards, the most in NFL history by a rookie and threw 21 touchdown passes while compiling an 84.5 passer rating. He also ran for 14 touchdowns, an NFL record for a quarterback. Newton is the first player in NFL history to pass for more than 4,000 yards and run for at least 500 yards in a single season.
Now, he’ll get to enjoy his accomplishments in Hawaii for a week.

actually Stafford is the 3rd alternate. Not sure who the 2nd is, but I would assume its Romo.
Although its all horsesh*t anyway. Why isn't Matt Flynn in the probowl??
