Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton expressed confidence that he'll play despite a fractured rib.
Newton told reporters today he has no doubt he'll play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Newton also disclosed that several ribs were impacted by the injury.
Newton is coming off offseason ankle surgery.
Now, he has another injury to overcome.
