The Arizona Cardinals promoted Terry McDonough to vice president of player personnel.
He replaces Jason Licht, the new Tampa bay Buccaneers general manager.
McDonough was jhired as an eastern regional scout last season.
He has worked in the NFL 22 seasons, including a decade with the Jacksonville Jaguars and previous stints with the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens.
McDonough is the son of the late Boston Globe sportswriter, Will McDonough.
