The Arizona Cardinals signed NFL veteran running back Jalen Parmele following a rookie minicamp tryout along with former Arizona State wide receiver Kevin Ozier, former Oklahoma offensive tackle Cory Brandon and former South Carolina cornerback Jimmy Legree.
The Cardinals cut cornerback LeQuan Lewis, running back Tim Cornett, wide receiver Corey Washington and offensive tackle Kadeem Williams.
Parmele has played for the Miami Dolphins, Baltimore Ravens, Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans. He has rushed for 187 yards on 47 career carries in 35 games.
“A couple of the tryout guys appeared to have not only a good skillset but they could handle the knowledge and the information,” Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said last week. “I was a little disappointed in a couple of the rookies that had been here with the number of mental errors we had out there.”
