The Arizona Cardinals have signed rookie fifth-round quarterback John Skelton to a four-year, $1.97 million contract that includes a signing bonus of roughly $182,000, according to a league source.
Skelton also received the standard base salaries of $320,000, $405,000, $490,000 and $575,000 as well as a fourth-year escalator clause that can significantly boost the maximum value of the deal.
The strong-armed, 6-foot-5, 243-pounder from Fordham played in the East-West Shrine all-star game.
For his career, he passed for 9,923 yards, 69 touchdowns and 36 interceptions with a 58.8 completion percentage.
Last season, he passed for a career-high 2,708, 26 touchdowns and 10 interceptions with a 64.4 completion percentage.
Meanwhile, the Cardinals cut safety Herana-Daze Jones.

Sterling sliver jewelry, particularly bracelets, is a staple of fashionable women everywhere. This type of pandora beads is durable yet so beautiful. The versatility is outstanding; it goes with every outfit whether with jeans or with a designer gown. For instance, movie star Sandra Bullock wore a silver cuff bracelet to the 2009 MTV Movie Awards in May 2009. A silver cuff bracelet makes an audacious statement, yet it is lightweight and is flexible so that it can fit a variety of wrist sizes. Another popular type of bracelets is the silver charm bracelet. There are many shapes and designs for the charms that are attached to the bracelet.

This guy will push past Leinart potentially by the end of this season, making Leinart a trade bait player for the new CBA and potentially on anyone's roster next year...this kid could become the next Phillip Rivers type of QB in the league...big arm, accurate enough and a gamer - seriously think in 5 yrs we all maybe saying, so what was up with nobody knowing about SKelton in the draft of 2010...then again he may be the next Rosenfels as well, who knows, time will tell...
