Injuries created need for a receiver Brad Biggs
The Arizona Cardinals announced that they have signed former Arizona State wide receiver Mike Jones.
To make room for the addition, veteran safety Aaron Rouse was released. Rouse suffered whiplash in an automobile accident as he returned to training camp in Flagstaff, Ariz., on Monday. He was going to be caught in a numbers crunch, and the Cardinals have some injuries at wide receiver.
Jones has been with the Seattle Seahawks and Houston Texans. An undrafted free agent in 2009, Jones had 107 receptions for 1,513 yards and 14 touchdowns in his final two seasons with the Sun Devils/. Larry Fitzgerald (knee) and Early Doucet (abdomen) are currently sidelined for the Cardinals.
