The Arizona Cardinals will potentially go after left tackle Jared Veldheer when free agency begins Tuesday, according to The Arizona Republic.
Veldheer, selected by the Raiders in the third round of the 2010 draft, is set to be an unrestricted free agent this Tuesday at 4 p.m.
The report states that the Cardinals were initially considering Branden Albert, who has since been linked to the Miami Dolphins. Therefore, the Cardinals top alternative is Veldheer, who could come at a much more affordable price.
Veldheer has started 48 of his 53 career games. He spent most of 2013 on the short-term injured reserve due to a triceps tear.
