Montreal Alouettes wide receiver Chad Johnson continues to adjust to the Canadian Football League.
He caught two passes for 20 yards in his CFL regular-season debut as the Alouettes fell 29-8 to the Calgary Stampeders.
One pass from Troy Smith thrown his way was intercepted.
“I’ve got a long way to go, man,” Johnson told reporters. “With this being my first time experiencing a real live game with the bullets flying, the level of competition is really not that far off from the NFL and the speed of the game is equivalent."
