Chad Johnson will spend 30 days in jail,a judge ordered on Monday, as a result of violating terms of his probation following a no contest plea for domestic assault.
Johnson was charged last year with domestic assault on his then-wife Evelyn Lozada, but entered the no contest plea and originally avoided jail time as he was placed on probation.
Now, according to The Sporting News, Johnson will have to serve a 30-day sentence and have his probation extended for three months after he missed a probation meeting. Part of that was, per the report, that Johnson playfully slapped his attorney on the behind during the hearing, something that did not sit well with Judge Kathleen McHugh, who meted out the punishment for the former star receiver.
