During last night’s game up at Lambeau, I received plenty of questions and comments via Twitter on the Bears’ Cover 2 (or Tampa 2) defense vs. Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. It is a scheme I believe in (and trust), but to see production you have to execute the techniques of the defense. Let’s take a look at Rodgers’ TD pass to Donald Driver and breakdown why there was a bust vs. two vertical routes inside of the red zone to the closed (or strong) side of the formation.
