After six years, 74 starts and countless sound bytes, Channing Crowder’s time in Miami has come to an end.
Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports that the Dolphins have cut the 27-year-old linebacker, who was scheduled to make $5 million in 2011.
The former Florida standout has dealt with a variety of injuries over the past few seasons that have caused his production to take a serious hit. Over the past two years, Crowder has appeared in only 24 of 32 regular season games, recording just 91 tackles in the process.
