Chargers' Dielman pondering retirement

While the San Diego Chargers finish out the season behind a makeshift offensive line that includes recent waiver pickup Jared Gaither, at least one injured member of that line is contemplating retirement.

Guard Kris Dielman is pondering his NFL future, according to Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune. It is certainly understandable that Dielman would consider such a move, given that he has had multiple concussions in his NFL career, the last of which involved a seizure on the team plane on a trip home from New York.

Also, Acee says that tackle Marcus McNeill's future is up in the air as well. McNeill is on injured reserve as well with a neck injury, but his agent Alvin Keels indicated to Acee that the tackle wants to continue playing if at all possible.
