Chargers' Eddie Royal leaves practice field in ambulance

San Diego Chargers wide receiver Eddie Royal was taken to the hospital, transported away in an ambulance when he landed roughly after a catch.

According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, Chargers coach Mike McCoy said Royal landed on his back and had trouble breathing. He'll be evaluated at a local hospital.

"For precautionary reasons, we took him to the hospital to make sure he's OK," McCoy said.
