The San Diego Chargers absorbed another punishing blow to their receiving corps.
Wide receiver Malcom Floyd injured his knee today and it may be serious, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.
Floyd will undergo a magnetic resonance imaging exam, and the team fears the worst while not giving up hope completely after he was carted off the field today.
"I'm not saying we lost Malcom," quarterback Philip Rivers said. "I'm not conceding that quite yet."
Floyd's injury is one week after wide receiver Danario Alexander suffered a season-ending torn anterior cruciate ligament.
The Chargers have their fingers crossed that Floyd isn't done for the year, too.
